Bogota August 25, 2011. On Saturday August 20 at the Convention Center in Arauca was held an assessment related to the development of the High-Surveillance Zone (ZAV) for controlling FMD on the border with Venezuela, which zone is comprised of territories belonging to four municipalities in Arauca, which are: Arauca, Arauquita, Saravena, and Cravo Norte; one municipality in the Department of Boyaca which is Curabal; and two municipalities in the Department of Vichada which are Puerto Carreño and La Primavera.
