Colombian Agriculture and Livestock Institute (ICA) started vaccination of ovine, caprine, swine, equine that are in a 10 kilometers ratio of Paleska, Wayuú community located in Manaure municipality, alter confirming a cutaneous carbuncle case in a community child. It is estimated that in this process 5.500 animals will be immunized.

The Colombian Agriculture and Livestock Institute (ICA) informed that this June 30th, the vaccination against classical swine fever (CSF) in Quindío, Risaralda, Valle del Cauca, Caldas (with exception of Caldas middle Magdalena), Antioquia (with exception of middle Magdalena zone, Urabá and Low Cauca), Cauca (north zone), Chocó (central south zone) and Tolima (Cajamarca municipality) will be suspended.

During this 2010, 26 rabies outbreaks have occurred in Antioquia, Arauca, Casanare, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Norte de Santander, Putumayo and Sucre that resulted in 46 dead bovine.
