Is the unit responsible for supporting the General Manager in the formulation, design and development of policies, plans, policies and procedures relating to the issue of animal health, plant and safety related to primary production in the country, establishing the guidelines and to perform risk assessment on animal, plant and genetically modified organisms, also be the official contact point of the Institute in all international affairs.

 

To accomplish its functions into three units are: The Technical Directorate of International Affairs, The Technical Risk Assessment and the Technical Directorate of National Affairs.
